Charles Peterson's first book was called
"Of Time and Places". It provides great insight into the
artist's personality. It includes many of his limited edition works from about 1988 to
1994. Many of these prints are his famous watercolor memory images. Fifteen to sixteen
pages provide the glimpse into his personality.
The hard cover book sold for $189 but is currently valued at $650. It contained a print,
only available with the purchase of the book. The cover is very similar to his second book
pictured below. The hard cover book is sold out
but the soft cover version is still available for
$60.
 Reflections,
the second Charles Peterson book, published in 2001, takes a more biographical
look at Charles Peterson's life and a more informative look at his art. His knowledge of
art, his passion for the subject matter and his ever present wit are all well represented.The publisher writes,
"Introducing this new Charles Peterson book featuring more than 70 paintings,
including his most popular 'memory images' of the past decade, is exciting! What a journey
it's been, putting this second book together for this extraordinary man. Our goal was
to create a book that would, in appearance, "match" the first, yet in content,
offer something quite different." This book covers the years from 1995 through the
