"The Pleasures of Winter" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 S&I included email order form |
February 2006 -- "In this peaceful scene the children excitedly point out the mallards flying low overhead. The proud Belgians, the warmly bundled family, the crisp country air and the fading sun all convey the essential meaning of "pleasures of winter." We are reminded of a more innocent time when the countryside was at peace with itself and traditional family values reigned." |

"As the setting sun bursts through dense foliage the colors of spring are beautifully illuminated. A multitude of songbirds feed in this magical garden of plenty amid the profusion of flowers. Once again the season's annual rite of renewal is quietly celebrated." |

"Toasting Marshmallows" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
"In the crisp winter air the children's voices mix with the aroma of toasting marshmallows and the crackle of a glowing bonfire. Each of the toasters has his or her own special technique to produce that "just right" golden brown delicacy. On a nearby knoll three deer quietly observe the festive scene. They have not gone unnoticed. Two of the children (can you find them?) have sensed their presence and peer up toward the secluded hiding place. This delightful scene is a sequel to "Sweet Memories." |

"Summertime" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
In this nostalgic image Terry Redlin revisits the Sunny days of his youth. It was an innocent time when the most important thing in the world was to grab pail and pole and hike out to tile nearest fishing hole. ... The nearby bait shop offered ample refreshments for young appetites, including Langenfeld ice cream. The artist's wife was a member of the Langenfeld family, and the authentic sign is one of the personal touches we sometimes find in Mr. Redlin's work. The vast area of golden dandelions covering the ground also holds special meaning for the artist. He recalls them as being "not a weed to be despised, but for me a welcome and glorious flower that colored my world." |

"Evening Glow" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
"It has been a day filled with deep satisfactions. No other camper has been sighted. The deer trail discovered back in the woods led to a hidden spring. A grouse was flushed from the aspen thicket. The wild call of the loon trivialized all human sounds. Now, as the day's activity turns to quiet reflection, Canada geese swoop low as if to say goodnight." |

"Harvest Moon Ball" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
"Word traveled quickly. Barn dance tonight. The location changed, but the magic of the message vibrated across farm country. It was a time for folks from miles around to gather and socialize. Gender roles were well established. Men talked crops and prices and politics. Women discussed their kitchen kingdoms, home-making and child-rearing. The kids, well they just worked off excess energy and played hard at the eternal mating game. In "Harvest Moon Ball" Terry Redlin captures with a knowing touch this rural American ritual with all its color, excitement and bustling activity." |
"Morning Solitude" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
It's that magical moment in the deep woods when the morning sun first slices through the thick underbrush to cover the landscape with its warm rays.
"Sharing the Bounty" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
"The setting for this unique encounter was witnessed by a friend of the artist on a quiet fall afternoon. Both the pheasants and the white-tailed deer have discovered the faulty make-shift corn crib. They keep a wary eye on one another, but apparently feel any potential trouble is secondary for as long as the corn holds out."
"Reflections" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
"Set against the mood of a late afternoon sun, three green-winged teal twist and slip silently past two familiar landmarks. The old wooden fishing boat lies neglected and partially submerged. The dock has been witness to many a big catch, but is now badly in need of repairs. Both vestiges of man's presence give pause for reflections of another time and place." |

"Evening Surprise" by Terry Redlin Image Size: 10½" x 18" Open Edition $134.95 framed print $15 S&I Total $149.95 email order form |
"In this dramatic painting ownership of the corn field is briefly contested between man and the ring-necked pheasants. The farmer means no harm, and on this fall evening wishes only to use the land on a temporary basis. He will soon willingly relinquish the territory to the wildlife and, as payment for the disturbance, offer the harvest leftovers." |
