Dave Barnhouse
features vintage Ford cars and trucks, or Chevy, Chevrolet, cars and trucks in many of his
art prints. Again, Barnhouse re-creates the best of times in his nostalgic Americana
depictions of small town America. Car enthusiasts find themselves reliving the joys of
their first car or truck through these prints. Dave has said collectors put themselves in
the art to re-live some of the happiest times of their youth. I really believe this is
true. I still fondly remember my first car.
are a few of his prints featuring favorite cars and trucks. Visit our main

What a wet damp cold evening. Note: Through some unexpected luck we have the original painting of Barnhouse's "Shelter from the Storm" available to sell. If this is a print you've always loved and thought it would be nice to own an original painting someday, then this is an opportunity for you to full fill both desires! "Spirit of Giving" by Dave Barnhouse Image Size 16" x 26" 1,950 s/n $175 print $385 framed print S&I included email order form |
"With the sell out of "The Spirit of Giving," more than $30,000.00 will be donated to support the many important on-going community activities of The Salvation Army. In this beautiful image by on of America's favorite artists we witness a warm episode in small town life. The local farmer on his Oliver tractor has donated time and equipment for the annual Salvation Army sponsored holiday hayride. On this chilly evening the wagon has stopped at The Salvation Army building on Main Street for a cup of hot chocolate. After a brief rest they will continue their ride, laughing and shouting, through the snowy streets, creating fond memories for the watching adults. This nostalgic painting reminds us that young people are the precious resource of an entire community, and that The Salvation Army is "on guard" not only in times of crisis, but also in the quieter moments of everyday life." |

"Taking the Back Roads" by Dave Barnhouse Image Size 16" x 21¼" 1,250 s/n $125 print $320 framed print S&I included email order form |
"Who can't identify with this young driver trying to find an elusive farm on a back country road? While the natives are friendly, a newcomer can't always find his destination with instructions to "turn right at the old Whitehead farm" and other landmark-laden directions. We have no doubt that with determination and another tank of gas the red Mustang and its driver will be greeted enthusiastically by the good friend waiting at the end of the quest" |

"It is dusk as the crowd leaves after the last race. Now is the perfect opportunity for the children, who have been impatiently waiting, to get their hero's autograph. He is happy to comply, resting on the star of the competitors, a 1964 Ford Galaxy. Mechanics are diligently readying their prized possessions for the drive home. The 1965 Chevy 2-door hard top and the various sponsor logos in this nostalgic piece represent the popularity of this era and one of Dave Barnhouse's favorite times." |

"Evening at the Paramount" by Dave Barnhouse Image Size 15" x 29" 1,250 s/n $175 print $385 framed print S&I included email order form |
"Its opening night for Love Me Tender, the first movie starring Elvis Presley. Most movie goers who show up early to get a good seat< walk or drive a short distance to the show. But some drive from further away. A 1955 Cadillac followed closely by a 47 Lincoln Continental pull up out front. The driver of the pink Cadillac hops out to approach the ticket office and seems to be immediately recognized!" |
| One of these Dave Barnhouse Ford or Chevy prints would make an excellent gift choice for your vintage car enthusiast. Remember him, or her, at Christmas, Father's Day, or retirement with one of these perfect gift prints. | ||
